Specialized Technical Meeting on Preventive and Predictive Maintenance of the International Monitoring System (IMS)

During the O&M Workshop 2015, it was recommended that once every two years, alternating, between an event focused on the full spectrum of topics and an event focused on specific topics should take place.

The O&M Workshop (full spectrum of topics) was held in 2018 and is expected to be held again in 2022.

Following the recommendation, a Specialized Technical Meeting (with specific topics) will be held as a virtual meeting with the following objectives:

To provide a platform to present measures and tools that will lead to enhanced monitoring and sustainment of the IMS on:

a) cutting-edge developments in State-of-Health (SOH) monitoring and tools for Station Operators, in particular on notification and predictive analysis

b) potential sustainability enhancements for the IMS station network, in the areas such as equipment standardization, best practices of operation, documentation, training.
